– Teaching Kids to Love Jesus –

We want to love well and see Christ change the lives of each boy and girl the Lord brings to Woodmen. We’re creating a fun and safe place where kids can discover the God of the Bible. We look forward to getting to know you and helping your child thrive, because every kid is a big deal at Woodmen!

Early Childhood

We want the littlest of kids (babies-Kindergarten) to engage with God's Word through just-for-them teaching, drama and worship.

Elementary

Kids are a gift from God. We lead older kids (1st-4th grade) into knowing Him, hearing His voice, and responding to His love.

WHAT TO EXPECT

On your first visit, look for the Woodmen Kids area. You'll be welcomed by a greeter eager to meet your family and you'll learn how Woodmen Kids works. We'll be there every step of the way (right up to your child's room), so feel free to ask questions!

Because we value safety, we will need some information at that time including the parent’s name, child’s name, birth date, and address, cell phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).

SECURE CHECK-IN

At Woodmen Kids, safety is a core value. That's why we have a secure check-in system at every Woodmen location.

When you check in your child, you will receive printed tags: a name tag for your child, a roster tag for the teacher, and a claim ticket for you. These three tags have matching numbers that enable the teacher to release your child to you at the end of the service.

WHAT WE VALUE

We’re called to minister to children and help families raise kids who love Jesus. The way we live this out is through the following values:

GROWING SPIRITUALLY HEALTHY FAMILIES God designed for families to pass down their faith to their children (Deuteronomy 6 & Psalm 78). We want to come alongside parents and help support them in this calling.

TEACHING GOD'S WORD Scripture is our authority and God’s ultimate truth, and we can obey God and respond to Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS We want each child to be intentionally shepherded by loving ministry partners each week. This is how we can grow them in their faith.

PRIORITIZING SAFETY Our ministry is a place where children are cherished and protected. We are grateful that children are entrusted to us each week, and we strive to create a physically and emotionally safe atmosphere for them.

HAVING FUN We create an atmosphere of fun where children can be engaged. We want them to feel excited to come to our ministry. As we engage the children, we then can share about Jesus’s love for them.
