We BELIEVE the gospel transforms us from the inside out.

The indwelling of Christ in our hearts changes the way we think—the way we see the people around us, our community and the world. Christ in us is the hope of glory, and as we live out this hope, the change in us can become the catalyst for change in our neighborhoods and our city.

We’re called to be not just hearers of God’s word, but doers. In the first chapter of the book of James, the writer connects knowing God’s word with living as people of action. He gives us a challenge and a promise: “The one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.”

So we envision our worship services not just as a celebration of what God has done, but also as the fuel that propels us to active lives of service. Mark 10:45 reminds us, "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” As Christ followers, we seek to be like Him in all we do. So we answer His call to serve—to feed the hungry, to lift up the poor, to share with the prisoner, to seek justice for the oppressed, to meet needs all across our city.

We believe God planted us in Colorado Springs for a reason. So while we also serve in other countries and contexts around the world, our ACTS team focuses on sharing God’s love right here in Colorado Springs and the Front Range.

Will you join us in answering God’s call to serve? You’ll find lots of opportunities to use your talents and gifts to help meet needs and make our neighborhoods and our city a better place for all. Together let’s be people who are moved to serve when we see injustice or needs in our city, let us be a church who ACTS.

We desire the best for our neighbors, so we are strategically invested in THREE CORE AREAS within our city.

But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. Jeremiah 29:7
