Here’s what you can expect
You'll be with real people in a casual setting. The service will last about an hour and 20 minutes.
When you first arrive, anyone wearing an orange lanyard can help you find the perfect spot for everyone in your family. They’d also be glad to answer any questions you have and direct you to Connect Central.
You’ll find friendly hosts there who are experts on how to find community at Woodmen. They’d also be glad to answer any questions you have about Jesus. They’re real people just like you.
Hosts can help you find a seat in the auditorium where we’ll sing some songs together. The music will be dynamic, and on most weekends the band will include electric guitars, keys and drums. We gather to encounter God and respond to Him in worship. As we sing together we lift up the name of Jesus, God’s Son who gave up his life and rose again to make a way for us to be in relationship with God. The lyrics will be shown on a screen to make it easy to join in and sing along if you’d like. There will be new songs, since our faith is relevant today and God’s love is always new. Most weekends there will also be an old song or two, since God is timeless and our faith spans centuries.
After a few songs, a pastor will share some engaging, practical, Bible-based teaching. Depending which campuses you attend, the teacher might be live in the room with you, or, through the mysteries of the internet, you might see the message streamed in real time on a big screen. Either way, we’re all experiencing the same message and the same worship service together.
