Error
For centuries the people of God have gathered for biblical teaching and worship. We’re called to hold fast to a confession of faith and consider how to live it out and encourage one another. This is why we come together every weekend to study God’s word. (Hebrews 10:23-25)
We also gather to encounter God and respond to Him in worship. We participate in unity, lifting up the name of Christ in worship. We proclaim the worth of Jesus as God incarnate, who gave up his life, defeated death and is coming again. Through song and prayer, we declare the glory of the Father, Son and Spirit. (John 4:23-24)
We see each Gospel-centered worship service as a celebration of who God is and what he has done, but also as fuel and inspiration, lighting the fuse for the life of the church and the work of ministry in the days ahead.
