Karen Farhart will be the guest speaker for this event!

Karen will equip parents and leaders to understand the impact that listening and showing our kids and students we care can have on their ability to solve problems, manage their emotions and walk through difficult situations. As parents and leaders, we sometimes unintentionally communicate to our kids and students that their problems don't matter through the way we listen and respond. This can impact their ability to regulate their own emotions, problem solve and understand how their own actions impact others, especially in the midst of difficult situations. In this session, Karen will discuss some of the simple yet effective ways we can communicate hope and value to our kids and students in order to give them a foundation of problem solving that will last a lifetime.
