From Pain to Promise
A young boy named Cletus received life-changing care at a CURE hospital!
Woodmen partners with CURE Zambia, a ministry supported by the LoveWell fund. They recently shared a powerful story on how the kindness and generosity of Woodmen's community positively affected someone in need.
When a young boy named Cletus received severe burns from a house fire, he was left with injuries that strongly impacted his life. After the incident, Cletus didn’t have access to needed care, causing his injuries to improperly heal. The extent of his injuries left him unable to use both his arms. He endured insistent bullying from his peers and ongoing pain. This led him to drop out of school and withdraw socially. He had very little hope for an independent future. Thankfully, God had a different plan!
A nurse at a local hospital directed Cletus and his family to CURE Zambia, where highly skilled surgeons provided life-changing surgery at no cost to his family. Cletus’s future is now brimming with possibility. He now has full use of his hand and arm, can return to school and lives in the light of Christ!
