Woodmen Worship Team

Our Vision as a church is to Love Well, and Change Lives, Through Christ. As we gather for weekend services, the Woodmen Worship Team supports that vision by creating a space for people to meet with God and worship Him for who He is. We view our team not as a band of musicians, but as a team of worship leaders for our church who worship in Spirit and in truth. As worship leaders we strive to lead lives of worship, both on and off-stage, in all we do.

Called

We are each called upon by God to use our abilities and talents to minister to others, many of whom desperately need to be refreshed in the presence of God.

Christ Exalting

We will lift high the name of Jesus and point our church to Him who deserves all glory, honor, and praise.

Creative

We will make every effort to bring a fresh offering of the heart to the Lord each week, and battle against the ease of mediocrity.

Intentional

We will shepherd weekend services with intentionality. We will seek to do so through intentional preparation and seeking the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

How to Apply

for the Worship Team

Previous Experience Required

We are seeking volunteers who have experience playing on a worship team or with a similar band setup. We are currently auditioning for the following instruments: drums, keys, bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals, violin, viola, and cello.

Make Woodmen Your Church Home

We ask that you attend Woodmen for at least 3 months before joining the Worship Team. Please attend a "Woodmen Welcome" and review our church's doctrine and beliefs before applying.

Agree to the Worship Team Covenant

We believe that each member of the worship team is a worship leader and is therefore required to have a deep understanding and commitment to a worshipful lifestyle on and off stage. Please read and agree to uphold our team covenant before applying.

Video Audition
Required

This step is for vocals, keys, acoustic guitar, violin, viola and cello players only. Due to an increased amount of interest in serving on the Worship Team, we require certain musicians to submit a video audition with their application. View Instructions.
