Through our weekly outreach of Feeding Families, Woodmen ACTS helps to support several local schools and food pantries. This includes serving families within our own church community experiencing the harsh reality of food insecurity. Your donations help provide food distribution for greater access to food resources across our city.

Food Donations

Through Woodmen's weekly donations we are able to feed many folks throughout the community.

At Woodmen, our goal is to collect 2,500 non-perishable food and toiletry items each week to serve the less fortunate in our city.

Grill for the master

The grill is a towable 9-foot grill that can feed 300 people per hour and is also active from May-October.

We can use this grill in a variety of locations and events and it can also be deployed in times of natural disaster.

Snacks and Packs

Backpacks filled with food for kids to have the essentials for feeding their children for the weekend.

ACTS Packs partners with local schools to provide weekly backpacks filled with food for kids to take home for the weekend. ACTS Snacks provides nutritious snacks for children who come to school hungry or for snack time in the classroom.

Nearly 1 in 8 Coloradans (12.2%) struggle financially, living below the federal poverty line. This includes more than 1 in 8 kids (13%) with those under the age of 5 most likely to live in poverty. (U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey: Poverty, December 2017)
