Serve With Congregational Care

Meal Train Ministry

“Taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Psalm 34:8)

We exist to prepare and deliver meals to WVC families in need due to illness, hospitalization, births and death. It is a ministry of food and encouragement. To request meals or to bless others with meals, please email Michelle Hampson.

To request help

To request help with meals, we will need to know the number of people in your family, ages of children, food allergies or restrictions, your address and phone number.

To Help with Meals

If you have been blessed by this ministry or if God is leading you to show the love of Christ in this way,  volunteer as a Meal Train Ministry Partner.

The loss of a loved one is a difficult time for family and friends. Join this caring team as you use your gift of hospitality by setting up, serving and cleaning receptions following memorials.

Please contact Karen Farhart by email if you would like to help with this ministry.

Griefshare Facilitator

Have you experienced the deep grief of losing a loved one to death?
Have you learned valuable lessons and experienced healing from the hurt?
Would you like to help others do the same?

Please email Karen Farhart if you would like to consider opportunities in this healing ministry.

Marriage Mentor

Do you have a passion for helping engaged or seriously dating couples start their marriages with a strong foundation? Come join us mentor couples in our premarital class! You will be paired with 1-2 couples to facilitate conversation and build community during this 7-8 week-long class and meet with each couple individually 2-3 times outside of the class to review Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMIS), an assessment couples take to shed light on areas of strength and growth potential within their relationships. Online training to become certified as an SYMIS Facilitator is required to become mentors and is provided for you by Woodmen.

Please contact Karen Farhart by email for more info.
