We are delighted to invite you to a Women's mid-winter morning; the warmth, connection with others, making new friends ... this is your opportunity! Join Monument ladies for morning filled with new friends, and meeting with your longtime friends. All which are molded in with a special devotional from Shirley Lewis.
Shirley Lewis grew up in Black Forest, CO. Her love for “playing in the mud” began in a High School ceramics class. She now has a home studio in Colorado Springs. She enjoys giving pottery demonstrations & sharing from the Bible some of the things it has to say about clay & God the Potter. She has had the privilege of sharing with various women’s groups & Christian Schools.
She is a homemaker & is married to Jeff (a plumber) & has 3 children, 2 sons-in-law, & 8 grandchildren, who all reside in Colorado Springs.
II Corinthians 12:9-10 “…Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Enjoy conversation, light breakfast, coffee, and more .... come and enjoy.
Again, Bring a canned item to donate the morning of the event. The Woodmen Food Pantry can use your help. Look here for ideas of what is needed.
