Woodmen Students Q&A

Curious how Woodmen is supporting Students in their faith journey?

Curious how Woodmen is supporting Students in their faith journey? Here’s a quick Q&A with everything you need to know.

My child just entered the 5th grade. How can they get involved at Woodmen?

As kids mature, we understand the excitement and challenges that this life stage brings, so Student Ministries has created a program just for them! Each week in 56 services, 5th and 6th grade students participate in fun games, live worship, Bible-based large group teaching and intentional small group discussion time. This ministry is the perfect bridge as your kid’s transition into Student Ministries at Woodmen.

What does a typical night at Students look like?

Every Sunday night Students join together with like-minded peers to engage in live worship, Bible-centered teaching, and grade & gender-based small group discussion time. Our Student Ministry team desires to help your students feel known, seen and loved.

How is Woodmen investing in students?

Student Ministry goes beyond just the weekly programming to include fun events, meaningful discipleship opportunities, and ways to encourage students in their leadership. At Woodmen, we believe students are today’s church and are passionate about developing them to use their gifts and talents to serve others within the church through local service projects and even global mission opportunities.

Are there ways for students to serve at Woodmen?

Nothing makes us happier than to see students serve as Leaders in Training (LITs) in our Kids ministry. We desire to equip and encourage students (5th-12th Grade) to lead and love others well.
