Temple Square, service, and loving well

 Dear anyone who is reading this blog,

 Today, we visited the Temple Square and got to talk to a lot of Mormons about their beliefs compared to our belief, which was very interesting. We asked questions like, “How does your heaven work?” And “Tell us about Joseph Smith.” We even got to get a copy of The Book Of Mormon which will be interesting to read about(with an adult or mentor). During our adventure, we went to a church museum which had a lot of interesting things about Mormonism, and we got to go to the convention center, where Mormons have conferences about certain things. Overall it was a really awesome experience. After we finished our time at the Temple Square, we headed to Russ East’s blue house to help him with some yard and house work, which was surprisingly fun. He showed us a lot of old versions of the Bible and showed us other interesting things. Russ has a Christian radio program and some of the people on our team got to speak on his radio program which was an awesome opportunity for them. Russ was a former Mormon and we got to ask him questions about Mormonism and he shared his testimony with our whole team which was really cool to listen to his story. After our time at the blue house was over, we headed to the Genesis Project for the 2nd day of VBS. During VBS, we danced, worshiped, ate, played games, and made crafts with the kids. All the kids love dancing to silly songs and to make fun crafts. It really encouraged us that all these kids are eager to have fun and learn about God. After VBS, we headed to the youth room to do our debrief of our day. Ryker asked us some questions about our day like, “what did you enjoy about today?” And “how did you see god today?” We went around the room answering the questions, and got to hear everyone’s experiences about their day. Then a girl named Michelle shared her testimony to everyone in our group. It was very encouraging. After her testimony, we went to do some quiet time/prayer. After our busy day filled we got a sonic treat and headed to the hotel. We showered and got ready for bed after a long day then we went to bed.
