Nicaragua #2

We had a great first full day in the community of Posoltega with ORPHANetwork and Verbo Church. We had the opportunity to take part in three total home visits where part of our team had the honor to lead a lady in the community to Christ. We gifted each family a bag of food and prayed over specific hardships in their lives, which was a very eye-opening experience for our team.

In the afternoon, we helped with ORPHANetwork's feeding program by serving lunch to almost 150 kids. Later in the day, we joined Verbo Church, which is the local church connected to ORPHANetwork, with their prayer service. Part of our team helped lead worship while one of our team members gave a talk about Being an Example over 1 Timothy 4:12; 6:11-21. 

Today was a great start to our trip! We are looking forward to spending more time with the children in the community and with the staff of Verbo Church and ORPHANetwork. We'd appreciate prayers as we dive deeper into the plans the Lord has for us here in Nicaragua.
