Mexico June 2019 Day 4

Today was a day filled with joy, laughter, and quality fun times together. We kicked off the day with a devo centered around taking the step and freeing ourselves from sin by recognizing our sin. We headed to the ranch and worked on making more bricks, pouring concrete, and lots of shoveling. Lunch was around 1:30 and we were blessed with an amazing lunch of noodles prepared by the staff. Time was spent in the afternoon with games such as basketball, swinging and playing on the playground, and frisbee.

It has been such a wonderful blessing to hear the many stories of the people here and how God has worked in their lives. Neyely and John gave us a tour of the ranch and we attempted to use the rope swing over the creek and many of us slipped & fell in making it a funny experience. We all climbed to the top of the lighthouse and had an amazing view of Mexico’s countryside and view of all the hard work we have done so far in the field. Furthermore, we spent most of the evening playing volleyball and building relationships. It has been a long and fun-filled day of adventure.
