HS Estonia - English Camp - July 13th
GOODDDD MORNINGGGGG Woodmen Valley Chapel!!! Welcome back to another blog from the English Camp. What a fun filled and emotional day. Last night was supposed to be an all-nighter for everyone… No American stayed up the whole night. Misha and Bronner were the longest Americans to stay up- they stayed up until about 7 am. We had a team meeting starting at 8:15am. We were all exhausted and it was very tiring but we love the Lord, the kids, and serving.
We are still so happy and praising God for the three kiddos that accepted Christ last night!!!!! Many of us got to have heartfelt conversations with other teenagers. Breakfast was going smoothly until a girl that had to leave the night before walked back in and everyone started cheering for her. This girl has left such a big impact on so many people from camp. Many people were worried for her and just knew that this girl was struggling spiritually. This girl had many people pray for her and they were keeping her in their thoughts. Some leaders had conversations with this girl and other kids from the camp and noticed a new light in their lives. A new sparkle in their eyes. A weight lifted off of their shoulders. It was very cool for all of us to see so many students start to open their eyes to the idea of allowing God into their lives.
After lunch we packed up for camp and started cleaning the school. Throughout this week we could write little letters or kind words to others by writing it on a piece of paper and putting it in an envelope with their name on it that was on the wall. Many peoples envelopes had notes in them. We got to read our notes and see what great impacts that we have made on the students in the camp.
After we finished cleaning the school and making it look super clean and fresh, it literally looked like Mr. Clean came in and took control. Okay, maybe not that clean but we think we did a great job. We walked to the new church that we are staying at for one night and we got to relax for a little before going to this super radical and super wicked park. Many people had falls but they were all so funny and no one really got hurt. Our American leaders were talking to an Estonian Pastor and while they were doing that, we shared so many laughs and giggles in the park that we were told several times that we need to be more quiet. It was a fun night before we came back to the new church and we started doing our debrief of the night and now we are writing this blog to keep you all updated on how super sick our lives are in Estonia.
We are all super blessed to be here and we are so happy we get to spend time with each other, we are all a bunch of silly gooses. We got to open up about our struggles throughout this week then Bronner and Misha had the opportunity to share their testimonies with the rest of the American team. This week has been very stretching on all of our hearts but we have filled our doubts and struggles with prayers and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Thank you for listening to our wonderful Ted talk. Hope to see you next time. Love Well, Change Lives, Through Christ and like always, Sko’Jesus!!!
