SALT LAKE CITY 2023 - DAY 6

 SALT LAKE CITY - DAY 6

Today was the last full day on our missions trip, we had so much fun serving and learning this week. It was very hot and tiring, but we loved helping out. Today we organized lots of clothes and furniture! First, we helped at Utah Mission and had to take lots of clothes and boxes out of a giant storage trailer. We then had a chance to spend time with Alfred and hear his story. We visited a friend of his at a Nazarene Church to help sort clothes for the church to give away to people in need. In the evening, we met with the Genesis Project Church Youth Group at a park and hung out and did worship and a lesson from Joshua Olson. We had a fun afternoon eating Chick-fil-A and swimming at the Lorin Farr pool, where 'The Sandlot' was filmed and had so much fun hanging out. It was a really fun day! I enjoyed helping organize the clothes and especially loved seeing all the baby clothes. 

Tomorrow, we will head home! It has been a fun and tiring week!
