Kenya Day 1

Hey y'all!

We made it to Kenya; finally! We flew from Denver to Dallas Saturday morning and hung out in Dallas for a couple hours. We took walks, explored the airport, and played many games of Uno. During this time we encountered some very cool and intriguing people and were able to tell them about our trip. We had a long 9 hour flight from Dallas to Paris; unfortunately it was delayed by almost 2 hours. This delay led us to miss our connecting flight from Paris to Nairobi, so again, we hung out in the Paris airport for hours. We tried macarons, French McDonalds, and bonded as a team! Our team bonding got mixed around, unfortunately, as our team got split in half. Our rebooked flights took half of us directly from Paris to Nairobi while the other half took a pit stop in Ethiopia before they made their way to Kenya. We may be sleep deprived, jet-lagged, and a little shocked from our crazy traveling experiences, but we are absolutely pumped to start serving! P.S. Prayers up for our luggage; half of our checked bags are lost.
