Salt Lake City 2023 - Day 3

SALT LAKE CITY - DAY 3

Today, we woke up bright and early. Our first activity was setting up a car wash to raise money for the Genesis Project kids camp. We raised a lot of money and it went great! After that we were able to attend the 11:00 service at the church, and worship! Next, we did some more car washing, and then we ate our lunches in the lobby of the church. We had some free time after that, and then we went on a walk by the river. We got to see a beautiful rose garden, and hear about some of Genesis Projects’ history. We went directly to showers after that, and it was so nice to feel clean!! After that, we came back to the church and hung out for a while. We had sloppy Joe’s and ruffles for dinner, and root beer floats for dessert! Mr. Paul did our debrief, and then we headed to bed!
