Zambia Day 2, 2023

We made it to Lusaka, Zambia today!! We got off the plane and made it through customs. It was super smooth getting through customs- some security asked us one question, while others asked a bunch it was kinda weird. Then as we were leaving the airport there was a group of like 8 young men and boys who were welcoming a family member and they had bells on their legs doing a cool dance to welcome him home. It was so cool to watch. We then headed to Cure hospital where we are staying and we were able to unpack and relax a little. Played scum (a card game). We were so exhausted and took a little 20 minute nap, then we got a tour of the hospital! Little kids were so excited to see us they were giggling and waving at all of us. We also were fortunate to catch a beautiful sunset tonight on our first night here! We then got some energy and played more scum while listening to Disney music! We are all going to bed early because we are all exhausted. Tomorrow will be a full day!
