Guatemala Day 5
Today was day filled with joy, laughter, and the Lord's work. The children were incredibly excited to see us a second day now that they recognize us. The worship team was extremely engaged with the high school students. The crafts team was able to assist the students in a painting activity, and the games team experienced many laughs, one of which was provoked by the falling of two teammates in a hole (They're okay). Nehemiah, one of our teammates, had the opportunity to share his testimony for the first time with one of the high school students at Cruz Blanca. He was initially anxious to do so, but once he did the Lord was at work! The student he shared it with began to shed tears as he could deeply relate to Nehemiah's testimony. It was, as the rest of the day, a reminder that the Lord is working through our team. We were also able to make a lot of progress on the wall we've been working on. Teammates carried buckets of water, cut down trees, carried branches, and built the wall. At debrief Neely, who lives here in Guatemala, shared her testimony with the whole group, it was very inspirational and encouraged us to serve the Lord these last two days. Adios!
