Guatemala Day 1

We were at the airport bright and early in the morning to pray and then it was off to Guatemala. We had no problems with our layover and we even had time for a part of the group to go find Chick Fil A! Entering the country and getting through customs went well which we are thankful for. 

Guatemala is a beautiful country to serve in filled with life. The bus drive to the house was an adventure as we learned about a new way that people here drive. Lots to see and take in while we were traveling to Mimi's house. The people we have met so far are kind, generous, and wonderful hosts. 

We have all settled into Mimi's house and the dinner they served was wonderful. Everyone wanted more. It was wonderful to have even more connections with each other as we ate dinner. We also learned about the water filters that we will be taking to houses this week. 

Later in the evening testimonies were shared and the impact they had on us was special and unique. After testimonies, we prepared for the adventures to come tomorrow.
