Estonia April 2019 Day 4

Today we served with Indrek and Regina, a young, passionate, couple in their early 20ʼs who have felt the call of God to develop a Christian community in Maarjamaa, a small town outside of Tallinn. They are in the process of moving from Tallinn to connect with a small group of youth, Indrek through soccer and Regina mentoring as an older sister, and developing relationships by creating trust through a non-judgmental relationship, breaking down barriers!

Their apartment will serve both as a place for them to live and a place to worship God. Our team moved numerous boxes, furniture items and a piano from room to room and then many were moved from the inside of the apartment to a pile outside the building that will later be hauled to the dump. We also helped with peeling wall paper, applying drywall mud and cleaning up the space to make it much more habitable.

It was a joy to serve together, share a meal from Circle K and pray with this couple. When we left them we hugged and sensed a load was lifted from their shoulders. Now they are much closer to creating a humble but welcoming location to do life with all age groups of people that search for comfort but will find much more.
