Zimbabwe #2

The scenery and the people are beautiful! There is a tree with purple flowers blooming during this season and it is gorgeous. While we have truly have enjoyed this beauty, even in the brief time we have been here, it is the friendliness and hospitality of the people that has been at the forefront of our positive first impressions. We attended a local church service this evening where another example of this was displayed. Everyone was invited to stick around after the service to have tea and talk. It was a sweet time to get to know some of the congregants and engage in conversations! We fully anticipate that tomorrow will reinforce this as we have a full day of meeting all the hospital staff, along with the children and families as they come to the CURE hospital to receive hope and healing.
