Dominican Republic #3

Students International, the ministry we are serving with, operates a pay-optional medical clinic in Santiago which specializes in primary care, neonatal, diabetes, and hypertension. Our team is working with their interns at the medical site to assist Dr. Jhanna so that she can help as many patients as possible. On Monday, we had a patient who was surprised to find that she was 15 weeks pregnant with twins! Dr. Jhanna was able to start her on appropriate medication and we were able to surround her with prayers for the safety of her children. We also made house calls to a couple of hypertension patients to celebrate some birthdays. Even though they just met us, that did not stop them from dancing with us or being grateful for our prayers.
