Day 2- High School Estonia - Nathan Unks

Dear mothers and fathers, ladies and gentlemen, cats and dogs, and all others who have supported us on this here trip. We have finally spent our first full day in the lovely country of Estonia. Last night we arrived in Tallin and stayed at the scenic hotel of L'Heritage. We awoke to a lovely breakfast consisting of a main course of pickled beets for some and Kefir (Estonian Yogurt) for others, yet it was delightful for all. After this wonderfully delectable array of food items, now making a new home in our full and satisfied stomachs, we headed to the hotels conference room for a briefing before we were to enter our new home of the Octagon Centrum (I'll explain later). This briefing consisted of a couple very compelling worship songs at first and continued to evolve into other forms of worship including our morning devotional. After this devotional, we continued onto our team game. A game where we shot other team members to learn their names, kind of violent if you ask me but who am I but a simple American child. After this entertaining form of learning names we will hopefully come to know how to pronounce, we continued with even more enlightening speeches about Estonian Culture, and how we can share the gospel within it. This continued until we had reached the pinnacle of our experience, the peak of our joy, it was time... for our team dance. We struggled at first, did some people get smacked in the face on accident... yes, did we eventually get the hang of it... I don't know, but it was a learning experience for all, to say the least. This dance was the closure to our meeting, as well as our time in the Capital of Tallin, it was now time to be on our way to; the Octagon Centrum. We boarded a train to Rapla Estonia, and arrived there in the approximate time of one hour. Once we got to our destination, we strolled a couple blocs, singing and dancing all the way (Well really just Campbell and Nathan), until we finally reached our new home. This home is a very interesting home, one adorning the architecture, furniture style, and smell of a 1983 Soviet Russia. But I assure you, we were not met Inside by large burly Russian soldiers and thrown to the Gulag, but rather let in by kind, and hospitable Estonians as well as a couple more American hosts. We took time to get to know our new hosts, as well as our new building, touring and sight seeing every corner of this historically weird building. We ended our day with some more worship but now from an amazing Estonian voice, as well as a team debrief. We recalled our day as I am now to you, and realized that we saw God move and work in every second and in every moment of it. From the heartfelt song and worship of the one guitar in the small conference room, to the hospitality and kindness of our Estonian Hosts. Gods love was seen working through every person we met during our day, and we know we will continue to see him work in all of our lives throughout this week and in this camp. Thank you for listening to my very esteemed tale of our adventures in the enchanting nation of Estonia, and we will see you tomorrow, with whoever is writing this tomorrow.

God Bless and Goodnight from Estonia.
