Nashville Student Trip 2022 - Day 3

My Dear Wormwood, 

Today, we arrived at proclamation church promptly at Seven Thirty A.M. At proclamation, we helped to run kids week, leading kids through activities such as music, Bible, snack time, and recreational time. Afterward we had a nice lunch period. Then we departed and traveled to Glen view elementary school.

Q: Where do the periodic table of Elements get an education?

A: Element-ary school.

At the school, we did work projects such as sanding railing, and washing walls and while listening to music. We then wrote cards for the teachers of Nashville, and then had free time before dinner. Afterward, we went for a prayer walk with the people of proclamation. Pool time was the perfect way to finish up the day.

Today we woke up at 6:30, ate breakfast, and headed to Proclamation Church. When we got to Proclamation, we did a short devotional time and then went into finishing setting up for Kids Week... Then the kids came, one after another once they were all there we started Kids Week. First, we did a short talk, worship, and a skit. We then broke out into groups for the remainder of the program. We played games, learned songs, got yummy snacks, and had fun while we did it. Then soon after it started…it ended, and all the kids left to go home. We waved goodbye as if with tears in our eyes. Then we had lunch and drove over to the elementary school. While at the elementary school, we cleaned the walls, sanded down the railings, and cleaned the windows. After hours of cleaning (and a couple dance party's) we ventured back to Proclamation Church for debrief, testimonies, and reflection time. Once we finished dinner, we went on a prayer walk around the neighborhood. After the prayer walk was time to pack up and go back to the hotel for a note time. Then free time came... A lot of the groups went to the pool and let's just say—it was a splash. To end the day, we got in our groups one last time to say goodnight. That my friends, was the end of an amazing day.
