This trip was a really eye-opening experience, not only did I get to see the kids reality but I got to see what our partners do year round to bless the kids of Cruz Blanca. I have made new relationships and strengthened old ones. All the work God has done in and through us is encouraging and energizing.

This week was so incredible and beyond anything I could’ve imagined. I’ll never forget playing with the kids and I especially loved playing with Jasmine. I’m going to miss them all so much and I’m going to miss it here!!

Today I fell. It was technically Josh's fault. But I saved a kid so I’m basically a hero. After that, I fell again. That was 100% Logan’s fault. I’m fine tho.

Today was super fun, it was the last day which we were all super sad about. This week has been full of blessings, joy, sadness, and I made a lottttt of new friends. Definitely an experience I won’t forget!!!

(Ps, they take away sparkles at customs)

We got to tour the community today and see where the school had started and it was so cool to see how far it has come. it is an amazing ministry and I pray it will last for a long time!! this place is so wonderful and i’m going to miss it! also slow motion videos of kids playing sharks and minnows look so epic!

Today was the last day of trip and I played pato pato ganso (duck duck goose) with the younger kids and surprisingly the older kids too. We also played a game where the person in the middle of the circle says what they like and if the other people like the same thing they run to another spot, it was like musical chairs! There was also a little girl that kept on hugging me and she was so adorable! Thank you for reading!!!

-Greydi

Today was the best but also one of most sad days in this trip. Hanging out will all the kids was so much fun. The younger kids were really into playing with the egg shakers and throwing to each other. For people who basically only play soccer, they have really good throwing arms. With the older kids, we played a game called 500. The girls weren’t really into it but the boys had a blast and they would dog pile on top of the ball and fight over it. Because the girls didn’t want to play me and Emily got a translator to talk to them and ask them questions. I’m so sad that this is our last day here but I hope the kids continue to get a great education and follow their dreams.

Today we leave Guatemala. Although I am super excited to see my family and friends, I am also thinking about the family and friends that I made here. Despite the language and cultural differences, our love for Jesus has made us family. We are all God’s children who were made in His image. I have been truly blessed to serve along side my brothers and sisters in Christ this week. There have been many laughs, many tears, and many “que’s”. Overall, it’s been a truly incredible experience to love on these kids and the community of Cruz Blanca. See you soon family!
