Guatemala Team #6

The last day of VBS at Jicamapa was very bittersweet because we didn't want to leave the kiddos! When we first arrived we set up the worship right away and once we started to sing, all of the other kids joined in. The school was full of music and all of their voices were beautiful together. The story for today was Jesus feeding the 5000, which the kids loved.

We had limited time with the kids today so we only got to play games and work on crafts with them for about 20 minutes each. At the very end of the day we all stood at the exit of the school and all of the kids gave us the biggest hugs as they left school. Once all of the students left we sat down with all of the teachers and they gave every one of us a personalized gift. It was an extremely heartfelt moment with the teachers. They then offered us an amazing homemade lunch that consisted of horchata, enchiladas, and tostadas. 

We then hopped on the bus for what we thought would be a 3 hour drive, but it turned into a 6 hour drive. When we finally arrived at Mimi's House we were all so grateful and got to see the amazing night sky from the roof of the compound. After a filling meal of hamburgers, we had our final debrief with Ephisians 4 then rested in preparation for the exciting day ahead!!
