Students - Guatemala - July 22

Today we started up with VBS for the second group of kids, we started off the morning with an amazing breakfast of waffles and eggs before heading out on the bus. The kids today were super kind and happy!! There were some twins today in the crafts room that did a choreographed dance for us. It was definitely the highlight of my day and the entire crafts team!!

At lunch a previous missionary to Guatemala spoke to us and shared her testimony about how her heart changed while serving in Guatemala and how she was inspired to move. It was a beautiful story and good insight for us on our heart position during this missions trip. 

The high schoolers came through today which was different but fun to connect with kids around our age. The games team really got a workout today (like most days) with construction right after a full day of running back and forth on the soccer field. Construction today was super fulfilling as we’ve finally gotten some ground leveled out completely.

Overall today was full of positive energy and good times serving Jesus with the staff at the Learning Center!
