Guatemala - July 18

Today was a day of rest, worship, and fellowship. To start the day, we had the chance to spend some quiet time soaking in the word of God and the beautiful country he has brought us to. We also had the opportunity to attend a local church, and enjoy an awesome time of communion, teaching, and worship. Next, we headed off in the afternoon to grab some lunch, bond even more with the team, and explore some of the shops (and gelato) Guatemala City has to offer. After the first part of the afternoon spent eating delicious food and having awesome conversations, it was time to head back and prepare for the VBS we will be leading tomorrow. Finally, we ended the day with some chilly weather, an awesome debrief, some really touching testimonies, and an amazing time of worship as a team. Today was a really special time of fellowship, not only with the team continuing to grow closer daily, but it was an awesome time of praise and fellowship with God as well. Everyone’s a little tired, but all a little closer, and all very excited to see what God has in store for our team these next few days.
