Students - Mexico - June 2021 - Day 1 & 2

After a long day of traveling, we began our week at Chiapas. We were given our orientation of the orphanage and met all the kids and residents that live here. After our orientation this morning, we helped by cleaning up the orphanage a little, whether that was mowing, moving brush, or setting up for a father’s day fiesta. During our free time today, we played multiple sports with the kids, including basketball, futball, and tag. For Father’s Day we celebrated one of the founders of the orphanage named Bill by bringing a mariachi band and having a grill out fiesta. Looking forward to tomorrow!
