A PLACE TO BELONG

Whether you’re new to Woodmen or have been here for a while, we want you to feel at home! So, after today’s service, swing by Connect Central and say Hello! We can answer your questions about Woodmen or connect you to one of our wonderful ministries to help you take the next step in your faith journey. We look forward to meeting you!

LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS

Serving others in our city and sharing God’s love in tangible ways is a call we all share. Woodmen’s ACTS ministry focuses on helping you find a place to use your God-given gifts, skills and passions to meet needs right here in our community. Imagine a church full of people active in serving hurting and desperate people—a church that’s not just IN the city, but a church that’s FOR the city. That’s the kind of church God is calling us to be together.

From providing food to those who are hungry to volunteering with gospel-centered, effective partner organizations that are caring for our community, we have lots of ways for you to make a difference. Will you join us in responding to God’s call to serve? To find out more, CLICK HERE.

RAISING RUCKUS FOR JESUS

Don’t miss the all-church night of worship, coming up at Rockrimmon on Sunday, October 24! To make room for everyone, we’ll have two services: A 4 PM service with childcare available and a 6 PM session where Woodmen Students will join us to make a joyful noise. Both of these services will be full of passion and energy as we unite in glorifying the name of Jesus. Come anticipating the Holy Spirit’s presence as we declare God’s goodness together. Register for childcare and get all the details HERE.

Stewardship Update

Thanks to your generous gifts, life-changing ministry is happening every week through Woodmen. Your investment in the gospel is sharing hope across the Pikes Peak region and around the globe. Here’s an update with key fiscal-year-end totals on our recently concluded 2020/2021 fiscal year, which ended September 30, 2021:

Anticipated Tithes & Offerings (Campus Ministry Funds): $12,303,000
Received Tithes & Offerings (Campus Ministry Funds): $11,001,755
Shortfall: $  1,301,245

We’re grateful to God for all He provides! While tithes and offerings did not meet initial projections, by carefully monitoring expenses, we ensured a solid foundation to sustain the ongoing work of ministry today and in the future:

Received Tithes & Offerings (Campus Ministry Funds) $11,001,755
Actual Ministry Expenses: $10,453,607
Surplus: $     548,148

Is God calling you to participate financially in the ways He is moving through Woodmen? You can give online or when the basket is passed during today’s service. Online giving is a great way to follow through with your commitments to give regularly to the Lord. You can get started RIGHT HERE.

PRAYER FOCUS

This past August we asked the people of Woodmen to pray for students and teachers across the Pikes Peak Region as they started this school year. Many of those students and educators are looking towards the upcoming Fall Break. Some have enjoyed a relatively smooth school year so far. Many are tired and worn out wondering how they will make it to May. Will you join in praying again for all of those involved in education? Ask the Lord to give courage to Christ-followers to carry His light and hope into their schools. Call on Him to bring grace and peace in classrooms across our city and our nation.
