WHAT'S NEW?

GET CONNECTED

Are you new to Woodmen? We have friendly volunteers waiting at Connect Central to hear your story and help you feel at home here. Stop by right after today’s service to receive a warm welcome, a gift from us and some ideas to help you find community at Woodmen.

A CITY ON A HILL

The Role of Christ’s Church In a Challenging Culture

What does it look like in today’s polarized climate for the church to truly be “a city on a hill?” How can Christ-followers seek unity with those who have different perspectives? How and when are we called to take a stand? What’s the role of the Church in the political sphere? Should political matters be addressed in worship services?

Join us on Friday, February 5 at 6:30 PM, at the Rockrimmon Campus for this town hall exploring the intersection of faith and cultural engagement. Pastor Josh and other Woodmen Elders and leaders will lay out biblically rooted, gospel-centered principles that will help us navigate this turbulent season together. There’ll be time for Q&A as well at this in-person event. To make sure we have plenty of room for everyone, reserve your spot RIGHT HERE.

MAKING A SPLASH

If you’d like to publicly declare your new life in Christ through the sacrament of baptism, let us know your interest. Our vision as a church is to love well and change lives through Christ. One of the ways we celebrate changed lives together is through the sacrament of baptism. A few times each year we take time in our worship services to cheer and share in the joy of those being baptized. If you'd like to be baptized, get signed to be part of an upcoming baptism service RIGHT HERE.

FEEDING FAMILIES

Did you know that since the pandemic began, together, we've provided more than 20,000 meals to people in need in our community? As many struggle with financial hardships, the need is still great. You can make a difference by donating non-perishable food items in the Feeding Families bin at your campus. We’re also ready to receive your donations Mondays through Thursdays from 9 AM to 1 PM at Woodmen Heights and Rockrimmon. Hundreds of Woodmen ACTS volunteers are meeting needs and sharing hope around our city and you can too! MONDAYS ARE FOR WOODMENU

WoodmenU kicks off this week! If you’re looking for practical equipping, or for support through a challenging season, WoodmenU is the place to find a group that meets your need. These classes and groups meet on Monday nights. You’ll find everything from apologetics workshops, to help folks facing job transition, to groups for those in need of encouragement and hope during this difficult season. Some groups meet on-campus, others are gathering on Zoom. Now’s the time to sign up and set a new course for 2021! To get started, CLICK HERE.

GIVING THANKS

We're thankful for the ways the people of Woodmen continue to give generously even in these uncertain days. If Woodmen is your church home, online giving is a great way to faithfully follow through on your commitments to give to the Lord. Lives and hearts are being changed every day as we meet tangible needs and share the love of Christ across the Pikes Peak region and beyond. If you're interested in giving online you can get started RIGHT HERE.

READY TO SERVE?

In addition to providing our online service every week, we’re meeting on campus for those who have been missing large-group worship. We have lots of needs for folks to care for kids and to help create a great experience for guests. If you’re ready and willing to return for on-campus services, would you ask God what role you might play? To find out more, CLICK HERE.
