Hiking

The Thursday Evening Hiking Connect Group brings together hikers at Woodmen Valley Chapel to enjoy God’s creation through hikes on local trails. This Connect Group, some of which have been hiking together for 20 years, welcomes anyone who is interested in learning more about local trails, observing the associated scenery and simply taking in a shared experience of God’s creation right in our area. These summer hikes cover between 3 to 4 miles on each hike.

Starting on the first Thursday in June and completing the season on the first Thursday in August, the Thursday Evening Hiking Connect Group meets at a designated trailhead between 6pm and 6:15PM. Hikes start promptly at 6:30PM. Specific dates are as follows:

June 5: 7 Bridges

June 12: Red Rocks

June 19: Section 16

June 26: Garden of the Gods

July 10: Section 16

July 17: Red Rocks

July 24: Garden of the Gods

July 31: Stratton 

August 7: Mt Cutler
