Run from Sexual Immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:12-20

November 1, 2020 • Josh Lindstrom • 1 Corinthians 6:12-20

In a culture as sexually permissive as our own, the apostle Paul’s warning to “flee from sexual immorality” can sound hopelessly out-of-date. Yet for the follower of Christ, we recognize that we belong to the Lord and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Being joined to Christ, what we do with our bodies matters, and while the world may look down upon us, we seek to glorify God in our bodies.

Sermon Points:

I. I am not my own. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

II. Run from sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6:18

a. Honesty. 1 Corinthians 6:12

b. Perspective. 1 Cor. 6:13-14

c. Conviction. 1 Cor. 6:15-17
