Dominican Republic July 26 - Day 1

Our team of 11, made it safely to the Dominican Republic, traveling from Denver to Miami and then finally landing in Santiago. We are grateful our luggage and team bags all arrived without any issues and team members had great attitudes about the layover and travel time. We are joining forces with the long-term ministry, of Students International, along with teams from Virginia and Minnesota. We had a delicious Dominican meal, unpacked, and received our debrief to be ready to serve in 7 different ministry sites here in the DR. Some of us will be serving in the medical sites, others in the Women's social work site, many from the group will support the water filtration team, and of course a sports team, playing soccer with local kids and sharing the Gospel with our lives and sometimes our words! Please pray for our conversations with the beautiful people of the DR, and that the Lord will be glorified through our actions and words.
