Guatemala Serving Day 2

Extremely comical blog last night; me (👖) and Eminem don’t think we can top it… But we’re gonna try our dandiest to make it work!

We woke from our deep, deep slumber; we desperately crawled to the warm, crispy coffee. Then, after our visiting drive through the town, our bus driver managed to not tip over the big bus or hit any buildings!🫪 We arrived at our humble abode, UNUM… the Americans got obliterated by the Guatemalan during our lunchtime soccer game; although we tried our best, we left the scars and the bloodthirsty hunger of revenge🚡😉. After an extremely touching testimony from Jess, it was time to get back to work💪. We had a small group of kids in the afternoon, so we got a plethora of breaks, which we used to teach Joe how to cartwheel without translator Freddy🐐 by our side! once we finished VBS, we persevered through our exhaustion and played an intense game of soccer, which included multiple goals and bruises 😢. With sweat dripping down us, we hopped back on the bus and played an extremely mind-boggling game of Heads Up, we managed to make it home with only a few carsick fellas. 🪦 Gi Gi and L-Roe 😘 . When we got back, they had only just begun… we watched the US destroy Bosnia and a thrilling, nail-biting match. Then a brave few endured the dangerous rounds of sock battles 🙈 after Joe destroyed banana, Hanna🥓🐎 we indulged in an extra extravagant hack sacking circle

filled with lots of “sorries” (mostly from the girls)🤗Then it was time for heart-wrenching testimonies from Trev Dog and Pickle. After the team dispersed to prepare for the next day🐳, the cabin fell silent as sugarplum fairies danced in our heads✨✨
