Guatemala Day 2

Today was riveting. It was more exquisite then our prefrontal cortexes could of ever perceived. The day started off with 6am coffee and Trevor beaming Hannah's Beans (very yummy beans btw) with a hacky sack. After that we had deep discussions about nutrition around a circular structure to fuel your body at. We then loaded on to the bus which was going to prove interesting... The bus ride was a whirlwind of emotion from consternation to jubilation and exhilaration. They also have dominos and strange guatemalan chicken joints. Through games of imposter and some nonsensical and preposterous driving from both the locals and the bus driver. We emerged forth from our mode of transportation full of excitement for the day to come 😘 The first thing on the agenda was introductions from both staff and students. After that we got ripe and ready to rumble... Skits was dominated by Trev Dog, Bannana Hannah, And Gorilla Greydi. Games was ruled by Pants, Eminem, And Joe Worship was articulated by Gi Gi, Ry Ry, L-Roe😎 And Crafts was illustrated by Jake da Snake, and Pickle 🥒. Through blood, tears and a whole lottttttttttttta sweat we created unimaginable bonds within the team and the Wee ones. we ended the first half of the day with a boisterous game of Football (non American 🇺🇸). We expected another wave about to swarm our strong willed team. But something changed... the kids didn't show up....... we only had around 3.5 kids (one of them was minuscule). But we made it work through grit and playing a hour of soccer through bazillion degree heat we were forged by fire. The time for the kids to leave came upon us rapidly. None of us were expecting it... But we rolled with it and made do. Silence and drama (we got a lot of lore... (thank you to the lore droppers)) were our only companions on the ride back to our oasis. We got back and instantly hopped into a extreme Game of 3 (hacky)SACK WACK 😱🙈. All of our stomachs were rumbling and grumbling beyond anything we have felt before. Thankfully allayment was in sight. The taco truck had arrived 🌮. Sadly the men were last😭 Still the tacos were unimaginably delectable and metabolizing throughout our digestive systems. We wrapped up the Momentous day with a trampoline bible study and very touching testimonies from Jake the Snake and Q-Tip 3000🥰. We are now writing this from the floor and listening to a intense conversation about women's rights from the wonderful woman adjacent from where we roam.
