Nashville Day #4

Today was our third day of kids camp. The kids are really excited to come each day and learn more about Christ. They’ve been so sweet and cheerful, with some minor hair disasters, but still so happy to spend time with their leaders. After that we got to spend lunch with the pastor of proclamation church, Derrick DeLain . He shared the origins of the church, where they’re at now, and where they hope to be going. He also did throw in the occasional commentary on the Knicks and selling shoes. We then went to a park and shared our testimony’s followed with some exploration of the playground. We headed to second harvest to help with food distribution. The group was split into teams who built boxes, sorted food, organized it, packaged it, broke down old boxes, and threw away old food. The night ended with a run to cook out for some shakes and a race to the hotel.
