Fort Collins 2025 - Day 3

Day 3 was yet another super fun day! Once again we started the morning with breakfast and then a fun day at kids camp. Today was the day that the worship team discovered the light-up skirts and headbands, which made worship extra fun for the kids. The "game" for the kids today was to walk to a nearby playground and hang out there. The kids (and leaders) very much enjoyed the time outside. The second day of kids camp was Salvation Day, so we ask for your prayers for the seeds that were planted and the kids that accepted Jesus. The kids are also trying to memorize our key verse for the week, Ephesians 2:10, and they are doing an amazing job. After finishing up a fun day of working with the kids, we had a delicious lunch.

After lunch we stayed in the garden room at GP and had free time where there was a huge foose ball tournament, and a game of poker going on. When we got to go to our service project it was a lot of fun. We went to heritage Christian school. There we were split up to do different tasks. Some people cleaned out the lights others scraped desks and my group though old trash into the dumpster. There were also many other jobs. When we came back to GP we had dinner provided by a GP volunteer. Then we got to be a part of a night of worship. We got to sing dance and pray all with the community of our new friends from GP. We were each challenged to go up and meet someone new this was stretching for some people but overall had a great effect. 

After the night of worship we went and had dessert which was cookies and Rice crispys and more. We debriefed as a group then got to hear another testimony from a group member. We had a great day and are looking forward to tomorrow.
