College Guatemala #7

Today was a very joyful way to celebrate what this week has been full of. It was our last day in Jicamapa with the kids, and while goodbyes are always bittersweet, their hugs and smiles and gifts touched every single one of us. After leaving the school, we went to a location where all of the teachers came together, made us lunch, and celebrated the week with us. We ate some amazing food and then got to dance, play games, try some Guatemalan candy, and jump in the river. It is beautiful to see how close our team has gotten to one another over the course of this week and so tender to look back on the memories we made with the children and families of Jicamapa. Now it’s time for some fun sightseeing before we come back home!
