Nashville Day #3 - First Day of VBS

We woke up nice and early at 6-6:30 and had a scrumptious breakfast with our amazing monkey wrangling pod leader. Then we headed to proclamation church to begin preparations for VBS. The kids starting coming at 8:30 and we began our rotations at 9. We had music, games, snack, craft, and missions. We learned about Joy, Tracy and Michael during missions and how they spread Jesus’ word. VBS ended at 12 and we ate even more scrumptious lunch. After lunchtime we heard from pastor Derrick and how proclamation came to be. We heard about other churches in the area and what sorts of things they all went through. We then heard awesome testimony’s from Copey, Isaac, Madi, Sierra, Lily, Shelby, and Isabelle. After testimony’s we had an amazing time playing games like bunny bunny and poison dart frog. Then we had some quiet journal time while the leaders prepared dinner. Once dinner was ready we had an amazing scrumptious dinner with watermelon.
