Access Ministry and the Foster, Adoption, and Kinship Ministry exists to facilitate Christ-centered opportunities for individuals with special needs and kids who are impacted by foster care, adoption, and kinship care, along with their families.
Parent's Night Out is a time when caregivers can enjoy time off while our ministries provide a safe and fun-filled night for all impacted kids and their siblings. All participants must be 17 years old or younger.
Note:
- Check-In starts at 5:30pm in the Early Childhood area - located on the lower level of the Worship Center, by 1979 Coffee, at the Rockrimmon Campus (290 E Woodmen Road 80919).
- This month's theme is, "Candy Land!" Feel free to join us and dress to the theme!
- We will be watching the movie, “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,” rated G.
- Activities for participants include crafts and activities based on the theme, yard games, board games, a room with therapy dogs excited to visit, and a movie to end the night. Snacks will also be provided!
- A sensory room, fidgets, noise-cancelling headphones, and other sensory items will be provided as needed.
- Participants with special or behavior needs will be paired 1:1 with a volunteer for the night. Siblings and other participants will be able to roam freely within our locked down space and will be actively checked-in on by staff and volunteers throughout the night.
- Kids must be picked up by 8:30pm
- If any of your children have had a history of seizures, please fill out the Seizure Action Plan. Please complete it and email to Emily Hess prior to the event.
