Guatemala day 4

Today is day 4 of our VBS program through Unum in Cruza Blanca and it was amazing! We started off our morning with waking up to a delicious breakfast as usual! Praise the Lord that none of us woke up sick or super sore from previous days! (Thank you all for the prayers toward our team for our health and safety).

We met our bus drivers son Anthony (Tony) who helped us translate today with the kids and teachers we worked with! Once we arrived to the compound where we do VBS we had some spare time before we had to set up for everything so we enjoyed the company of the older and younger kids with playing some soccer! Once we started we did tug of war, made bracelets in craft time, worshiped the Lord, and put on a skit for the kids about Joseph and forgiving his brothers.

During lunch time we got the privilege of hearing the testimonies of one of the teacher's who worked with us and of Josh's wife Jessica (one of our partners at UNUM) which was inspiring to see her faith and where God has taken her and Josh through their hard work at UNUM. The kids were radiating with joy today as we got to share the love of Christ with them through hugs, high fives, piggy back rides, and laughter!

Our team did really well today, especially with our energy and just giving our all to these kids and teachers even when we probably didn't have the most energy! At the end of VBS we filmed a fun dancing video with the whole group that Jessica is going to put together and hopefully be able to share that with us so that we can all show you our goofiness!

Tonight we shared an amazing meal of chicken quesadillas along with fun and goofy conversations about the day and things we've enjoyed from this trip so far. The Lord also blessed us with time to share testimonies, more worship, and a solid debrief about the day.

Now we get to end it off with some silly card games hopefully more laughter and fun memories that we'll keep forever! We all love you and miss you tons and can't wait to share what we've all experienced so far and how miraculously God has been working through this team!
