HS June Guatemala #5

This morning we woke up at 5:30 and got ready for our hike up a volcano, we loaded our bus and set off, we arrived at the bottom of the volcano at 7:30, we got of the bus and started our hike, we spent 1 hour hiking up the volcano, the were a lot of rocks and many people were slipping and falling over, when we reached the top we roasted marshmallows over the steam from the ground coming from the volcano, later on we sat down and listened to Josh’s testimony, then we proceeded to walk down the volcano we ran down a fun path of ashy rocks and then one of our comrades Josh fell down the volcano, but he lived, and after a long walk down we made it

Then we boarded the bus and set off to Antigua. When we got there we went straight to lunch at a restaurant named Rincon Antigüeño where we at some good roasted chicken. Then we went to a market and bought some souvenirs, some groups went to other places as well, such as: a chocolate shop, a cool Starbucks, and Taco Bell. Then after all that we went back to the bus and headed back to Mimi’s House.
