HS June Guatemala #4

We woke up early and grubbed on some breakfast burritos. Then we headed up to Cruz Blanca for day 3 of VBS with the kids. The story we focused on that day was David and Goliath. When we got there we had another fun day of dancing, singing, soccer, and many other fun activities, including getting drenched by the kids from water day. While we were eating our sammys for lunch we got the opportunity to hear Evelyn (one of the teachers ) and Jessica's (Josh's wife) testimonys. We finished the day at cruz Blanca with the second session of VBS and it was a blast. We had an exhilarating drive back to Mimi's with many awesome conversations. After a little break, we got to enjoy some delish spaghetti for dinner. Then we had debrief for the day with worship and we got to hear some more testimonys from Addie, Kim, and Ruth. It is amazing to see how God is working in others lives and how they are willing to be vulnerable and share. One thing we have really enjoyed is quiet time which is a time to journal, pray, worship, you name it. It has been a really sweet time for the each person to have a set time to just sit in the Lord's presence. Then after some exciting late night laughter, we went to bed to prepare for the last day of VBS.
