Peru 1

We arrived at our hotel and all got settled in 

We had about an hour to get all of our bags unpacked and settled into our rooms.

Some of us had a pleasant surprise of how our rooms were situated. Some had AC and some didn’t.

We got into our church clothes and went right down the street (aka next door) to an amazing small restaurant. We were throughly settled and mid dinner when the power shut off and we were fellowshipping in the dark. It indeed made the food taste better. 

After dinner the guys and girls took turns taking Mike’s truck and the motor carts to church.

We arrived with a warm welcome to the church. We had a wonderful time worshipping the Lord in song and praise. The energy that filled the room was beyond belief. The joy, hope, and courage these unfamiliar faces brought. Despite the different cultures and languages we were all able to unite and worship the one and only God.

Jackson shared his testimony and we had a wonderful message from Abby. 

Three people turned their life around and accepted Jesus as their one and only savior.

After our three hours of worship that brought us all closer despite the language difference we ended the night with lots of laughs and photos with the church members.

We went back home for the night and went to bed.
