When I first heard I was going to work at everything beautiful thrift store for my part of the missions trip, I was excited because I love thrifting. My first day I got to see exactly how the thrift store worked behind the racks. I learned that this thrift store gets a lot of their products through donations. The month of our trip, the thrift store got an especially large donation of about a semi-truck full of clothes and toys. Because there were only a few people working at the store full time, a few sick days could really back them up. This mixed with the large donation, made the back room full practically to the ceiling. The first day, I was given a heaping cart full of clothes that other people would take to be put out as soon as they finished racking the last. Another day I did a few jobs, I racked more summer clothes, priced bedding, and matched shoes. There are so many jobs that are needed to be done to make a thrift store run as immaculately as Everything Beautiful thrift store. This store is certainly an amazing thrift store even by my standards. It is neat, color coordinated, and it has good prices. I would certainly recommend it to anyone in the area.
