Uzbekistan #4

We are settling into our teaching routine of lesson planning in the evening, teaching for four hours in the morning and activities like art or games in the afternoon. Our lunch at the school has been more local cuisine and dinner is more international (Turkish, Uzbek, Asian, Italian). Overall, we have eaten well! A treat has been having some honey cake (quite tasty!) for dessert.

The students have warmed up to us and it is so encouraging! It’s been both fun and challenging to find creative ways to teach adjectives and syllables. We are all ready for three more days with the students and looking forward to the conversations ahead!!
