Becoming a Partner

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. – Philippians 1:3-5

Partners in the Gospel is designed as a three-year initiative, and there are two important ways you can participate.

Pray

Thank God for His grace and provision for Woodmen since 1979, and the ways He has blessed our Monument community in the last four years. Pray that He’ll continue to guide and shape us in ways that conform to His heart. Ask Him to give us the resources and the desire to give generously to realize the vision He has for us. Thank Him in faith for what He will do as we respond. 

Give

We all need to play our part to see this God-sized vision come to life. As you consider how the Lord might call you to invest in the life of our church, here are a few thoughts to keep in mind: The people of each Woodmen campus fund their own facilities projects, so your contributions will go directly to Monument. Pledges and donations for the Partners in the Gospel initiative are not in place of regular tithes and offerings to support the work of ministry; rather, these gifts are above and beyond regular giving.

We’re kicking off our initiative with a call for donations to complete the purchase of the land for our new church home. Once we’ve received the funds for the land, we’ll move to a pledge-based initiative to raise funds for the new church building over the next three years.

Pledge-based initiatives are a time-tested and proven way for church congregations to fund building projects. While gifts can be received any time over the next three years, gifts made early in the initiative have a vital impact in allowing us to effectively plan and accomplish the project.

When we begin the pledge portion of the initiative, we’ll invite everyone in the church to make a pledge of a specific amount that God is leading them to give over the next three years. If you call Monument your church home, we’ll ask you, in faith, to pray and to respond by making a generous pledge as the Lord directs you.
