Stewardship

YEAR END GIVING

We are grateful for your continued partnership with us in the daily ministries of Woodmen Valley Chapel! We can participate in what God is doing by giving generously, sacrificially, and joyfully. Our attitude about giving reflects what we believe about the Kingdom of God. We gladly sacrifice for the sake of the Kingdom because Jesus sacrificed for us, and all that we have is His.

To have your end-of-year contributions count for the current year, they must be received at Woodmen Valley Chapel by December 31, or, if mailed, postmarked no later than December 31. For your convenience, the church office will be open the last week of the year. As in the past, please note that any weekend donations received after the31st, will be attributed to your giving record for the next.
There are a number of giving alternatives (located on the reverse side of this card) that provide a variety of ways to contribute throughout the year, as well as offer additional options for your year-end giving.
Stock Donations: It is easiest to electronically transfer shares directly into our WVC account at Merrill Lynch. Please contact our Stewardship Team for further details. The date of the transaction record will validate your giving record. If you are transferring physical certificates, we will gladly accept them during regular church office hours.
Mail Your Contributions: Your mailed contribution must be postmarked no later than December 31. To ensure postmark date, check the mailbox you use for posted pickup times. The postmark stamp will validate your giving for the year.
Online Contributions:* For secure, one-time or recurring giving, visit woodmenvalley.org/myaccount. The date and time of your transaction will validate your giving for the year.
*We encourage you to consider online giving as a method of financially supporting the ministry of Woodmen. This process provides state-of-the-art encryption and security, as well as capacity to give immediately and regularly. Recurring transactions can be easily set up and your transactions will generate an automatic receipt acknowledgment. Online giving is a major advantage for our church community as this tool provides a regular flow of giving. We also experience a more stable foundation of received funds to better project resources for ministry outreach and receive significant cost savings in time, money, and transaction processing. Please note for those who choose to use a credit card, we do not encourage any form of credit card debt, but rather use the tool in a controlled and disciplined manner.
